I’m Kraig Adams, a filmmaker, hiker and minimalist based in Brooklyn, New York.

I create cinematic hiking films that document long-distance hikes around the world. Most of these trips are done solo while carrying the camera equipment needed to film along the way. The goal is to capture the experience of being alone on the trail rather than producing traditional travel content.

This site is a companion to the films.

Each trip page is a written journal of the hike with route information, daily itineraries, GPX recordings, and practical logistics for anyone interested in planning a similar trip. I’ve also included the hiking and filmmaking gear I use so others can see how these trips and videos are made.
